Day 88 – Seoul

Today started our exploring after midday. We used the subway and then walked to Bukchon Hanok Village, which is an old styled village. It was a Monday so some things were closed. There wasn’t really much to see, but there was some cool old style buildings. The experience might be better if the cultural activities were running (i.e. not a Monday).

After the village we decided to walk to Naksan Park which has the Seoul City Wall go through it. From Naksan Park, there were nice views of the city on both sides of the wall. The wall was built in 1396 and has a total length of 18km. We only decided to do a portion of it walking from the park to the Dongdaemun Gate (West Gate). It was only 7 degrees as we did the walk. The temperature definitely made us walk faster.
