Day 64 – Hiroshima to Tanabe

Today we left Hiroshima by bus towards the town of Tanabe. The town was around 500 km away and took half a day including the stops. We actually first got on the Willer bus which dropped us off in Osaka. From Osaka we bought a return ticket to Tanabe with JR buses, which was really expensive, but we were tired.

From the Tanabe Bus Station / Railway Station we had a short walk to Guesthouse TAKAO. The staff member was very friendly and let us know where to go around the small town. We walked around a bit looking for somewhere nice to have dinner, but we couldn’t find anything we liked and could afford. We therefore cooked our own home cooked meal since we left Australia and as strange as this is to type, it was nice to actually eat something green after so long!
