Day 459 – 460 – Cusco

Rest Days in Cusco

After all the hiking around Cusco, we decided to take it easy over the next few days. We extended our stay at Hostal International Cusco and we washed all our clothes..

We did try to post some items back to Australia but found that postage is super expensive. Therefore, we just decided to keep holding onto the items. Even after the Salktantay Trek, walking around Cusco was difficult due to the high altitude and stairs. Literally stairs everywhere.

On Day 459, we met up with a couple of people from the Salkantay Trek for dinner. We ended up having really nice pizzas at Mister Da. It was so good that we went there the next day for lunch. For dinner we went to a recommended restaurant called Green Point. It has really nice vegan food.
