Day 436 – Arequipa
Preparation Day
Today was mainly a preparation day, as we got ready to hike the Colca Canyon. We wanted to leave early tomorrow morning, so we packed our bags during the day.
Later at night, we met up with a Chilean man whom we met on the Free Walking Tour yesterday (Day 435). He recommended a cafe called Chaqchao Chocolates. The cakes and hot drinks were amazing.
Once we were back at Holiday Backpacker Hostel, talking on the phone with family, I was playing around with one of our locks. I did something really dumb…
…Luckily my wife had the spare key to save the day once again. We had an early night so that we can try get an early bus tomorrow.
