Day 422 – Paracas to Ica

I was feeling a little better today but nowhere near 100%. However, I was happy to leave Paracas. We checked out of Buganvilla B&B and walked to the Oltursa Office. 

The minivan was scheduled for 11.15am. We had purchased the tickets several days ago for 25 PEN ($10.83 AUD) each and it cost us an additional 5 PEN ($2.17 AUD) each to adjust the date. 

Our original plan was to go directly to Huacachina but we found better accommodation for cheaper in Ica. We forgot to let the bus company know. The van went directly to Huacachina and the driver refused to stop in Ica. It was fair enough because we were on a major road that was super busy.

From Huacachina we caught a taxi back to Ica for 10 PEN ($4.33 AUD). Then we checked into our very nice hotel, Hotel Villa Oasis. The plan was for me to rest and recover, which I did.
