Day 380 – Huaraz
Rest day
Today is our well deserved rest and recovery day after surviving the Santa Cruz Trek. We had to leave the amazing private room at Akilpo Hostel and move into the 8 person dorm room. We were able to move our bags straight away, which was nice.

For breakfast, we decided to go to California Cafe. The cafe had a lot of praise online. The dishes were very basic and quite pricey for Peruvian standards. The two breakfast dishes cost us 50 PEN ($22.04 AUD).
Super cheap hair cuts
After this we just bought some groceries from Nova Plaza, before going back to Akilpo’s Common room to chill for the rest of the day. Due to a recommendation, we went to Chifa El Cielo de Huaraz for dinner. The food was cheap and massive.
