Day 148 – Luang Prabang
First day in Laos
Today, we just spent the day relaxing and taking in the country that is Laos. The day was wasted, trying to work out what to do and where to stay. We ended up having lunch in the tourist strip at Cafe Croissant D’or and then dinner along the banks of the river at The Chennai Restaurant.

One of the key differences we noticed in Laos, is how vibrant some of the Tuk Tuks are. The midday heat was extraordinary, but around sunset, it was beautiful to walk around the banks of the Mekong River and its off shoot, the Nam Khan River.
