Day 103 – Battambang

After the minor accident yesterday during our tour on the Remork Moto, we were planning to continue the rest of the tour today. However my better half was not feeling well so we decided to postpone the tour until tomorrow. We also extended our stay in Battambang at Lucky Hostel. When we called DJ from DJ Tuk Tuk he was happy to delay the tour for us and even offered to take us to the hospital if there was no improvement.

Fortunately, we didn’t have to take DJ up on his offer. We had breakfast and lunch at Lucky Hostel. We would have had dinner there too, but it was closed by the time we went downstairs.

So we walked down the street to a vegetarian restaurant called Monorom Garden. The place was actually closed but the staff had not turned the sign to closed so they told us to stay. The food was surprisingly good and flavour-some.

The streets of Battambang (at least around the hostel) get quiet very early. I was surprised to learn that Battambang is Cambodia’s 3rd largest city
